............The purpose to have SAY SMT IN ENGLISH column here is for your guys discuss SMT in English. There are lots of “English learning” related materials on the web, we’d better not repeat it, I think SMTHOME never be a good place to provide such kinds of resource, Copy & Paste is not encouraged...... it should be a good exercise space for your guys to discuss SMT in your “working language”. Pls try talk to others for whatever your want in English, poor or good is not important, just do exercise, and don’t be shy!

I have prepared 500 Gold Coins (if I have supporters to donate, sure it will be more), write your own English here, I pay you one coin.

Don't be shy, we are not foreigner. Thus, we will see each other are the same even you may feel you are bad in English.

This is a good starting, let write whatever regardless of whether it is "Broken English".

Hi nestor, long time no see. You shouldn't be the first guy to propose everybody to communicate with each other in English about whatever topic in this English column.
I remember ,one year ago, I had called on we should do more and more discussion in English with any subjects. So everybody joining in can improve oneselves' English level more or less.
But we( I am involved) do not have the most important in English learning- Unremitting characteristic and spirit always. This is truth. I am in favor of your proposal ,and hope that everyone who are interested in learning English can take part in this wonderful column.

Recently I have seen a lot of good articles, however most of our SMT members are not familarized with English. Thus, there's a suggestion being raised and I hope it is good start to kick for us to pratise some English.

A Friendly Note for this Good Kick:
Whoever publishs any English writing, there will have some rewards and to be followed up.

See many talks in this forum, I find your English is singlish. Hehe~ owing to communication with my boss a Singaporean every day by email, I guess...
I think oral is more important than written English for me now. So far written is no problem for me, but spoken english is not good. I also know the reason- language environment exercise.
However there is no chance. Could you please give some advice about how to improve oral English? Your help will be appreciated. Thanks!

I am a Chinese and studied in Hong Kong, perhaps I am staying in Singapore (since year 1993) too long or studied my Master time in Singapore the past, so get the Singlish..

In my opinion, Simple & Easy for people understanding would be the Best English. Talking about Oral in English, which may be a bit hard here unless using skype or other audio equipment. Anyway have you tried "crazyli" http://bbs.smthome.net/read-htm-tid-196218.html ? which is highly recommanded.

However, the arrow in the clock is running fast even faster...and I have been staying Singapore more than 15 years. Stranger! Todays' me is having another such feeling that I may having the problem to write Chinese as which is more difficult for me ....regret to say that...

Probably cash flow and funds are the surface factors in this finance crisis. However this crisis do can bring ripple effect to entire chain. It has been impacting every field and every country. Effect is different for every country.

People may forget the real meaning of "Trading" instead of using "Business" or "Economic". Despite of the Crisis, which although will have a great impact, however should we think a deep if we don't touch the cash. Instead, using goods to process the exchange "Trade"? In real life, some countries are under this group who use the raw materials to exchange the oil.

Everyone here is ready to learn English and express English well. It is a good signal, do you agree with me? Just do it. I think we can improve our English by this method. Only you practise more, then you can get more, and at last you can master English well. Hehe.

In fact, it is a good idea to open "SAY SMT IN ENGLISH" here. We need to master SMT technology and discuss it, and we need to learn how to express in English.
